Because we use 100% pure, natural fibers, minor shrinkage is a natural characteristic of authentic cotton. However, our fabrics are treated to keep this to an absolute minimum. To preserve the rich, vibrant colors of your drape, we highly recommend washing your saree separately in cold water for the first few washes, as natural, authentic dyes may gently bleed initially.

It entirely depends on the drape you love! Our signature Pure Mulmul and Mul Modal cotton sarees are specifically celebrated for their cloud-like softness and fluid, crease-resistant fall—they require absolutely zero starch. If you prefer a highly structured, crisp look for boardroom meetings, a light starch can be applied to our standard cotton weaves.
