Story

Naples is an original Dhakai Jamdani saree in bright yellow, handwoven in soft muslin cotton and scattered with hundreds of daisies worked into the fabric on the loom. The fabric is light, breathable and easy to drape, and softens further with every wash. Its cheerful colour and repeating daisy motif give it an easy, joyful character. A lasting heirloom for Haldi, festive mornings, daytime celebrations and special occasions.

Is it original Dhakai Jamdani?

Yes. Every motif is woven by hand into the muslin on the loom, thread by thread, as the cloth is made. Nothing is printed or embroidered on afterwards, which is why the reverse shows the weave as clearly as the front, and why no two pieces are exactly alike.

What comes with the saree?

A 5.5 metre saree, 45 inches wide. It doesn't come with a blouse piece, which leaves you free to pair it with a blouse you already love.

Fall and pico are not included, which leaves you free to have them finished just the way you like. Any local tailor can do this for you.

Is it see-through?

Muslin is spun very fine, so the saree is light and slightly sheer, most of all in pale shades like white, pink and lavender. A petticoat in a matching colour gives a clean, seamless drape.

How do I care for it?

Dry clean to protect the handwoven motifs. Iron on medium heat.

Can I return or exchange it?

Yes. We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery, as long as the saree is unused and in its original packaging.

We usually dispatch within a day. Delivery takes 2 to 5 days within Delhi NCR and 3 to 7 days across the rest of India.
