A handloom saree carries something a powerloom cannot reproduce. The weave is slightly looser, the selvedge a little uneven, and the fabric moves more freely against the body because of it. Our handloom collection spans pure mul cotton and pure linen, woven on traditional looms and finished to be worn often rather than saved for occasions.

The Weaves We Work With

Our mul cotton handloom sarees make up the heart of this collection, soft, breathable, and better with every wash. For a crisper hold and more structure, our handloom linen sarees drape with a defined fall that holds its shape through a long day. Many of these carry a fine zari border, woven into the same pass as the body rather than applied afterwards.

Patterns Across the Collection

Stripes are the largest single pattern in our handloom range, and our striped sarees run from fine pinstripes to bolder multicolour lines. Alongside them sit plain solid weaves with woven borders, floral motifs, and checked handlooms. Plain and striped handloom cotton works particularly well as office wear, while bordered and floral pieces carry into festive daywear.

Handloom weaving supports generations of artisan skill that machine production has steadily displaced. Choosing a handwoven saree means a weaver's hours behind every metre, and a piece with genuine variation rather than uniform output. It also means a fabric that ages well, softening rather than wearing thin.
